Besides our own apps, Dako takes on a small number of client projects each year. Three kinds of work.

App design consulting

You have an idea, a half-built app, or an app that is not working the way you hoped. We help you decide what it should do, what it should not do, and what to build first: product definition, user flows, clickable prototypes, and an honest review of what you already have.

UI/UX design

Interfaces people can use without a manual. Screens and interaction details, type and colour, design systems, accessibility (Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, reduced motion), and art direction for illustration.

Full-stack engineering

Building the thing end to end, or alongside your team: native iOS, web front ends, the APIs and data behind them, data analytics, deployment, and the unglamorous reliability work. Small, tested, documented, handed over so your team can keep going without us.

How we work together

• By the project. A fixed scope and a fixed price, agreed up front in writing.
• By the week. We join your team for a stretch and work inside your tools and process.
• As a monthly advisor. Design and code reviews, architecture decisions, a second opinion when you need one.

We stay small on purpose: one or two people on your project, the same people from start to finish.
